One of the biggest things I hear when people talk about fashion is “I love that piece on you but it wouldn’t fit my style.” I am here to tell you that there is so many different ways to style the same piece. All it takes is putting your own flare on it. This idea inspired me to do a photo series showing you all how you can style the same pieces in your own unique way!
My best friend Amanda and I have some of the same pieces but style wise we tend to be quite different. That sparked the idea for this month’s fashion post. There are three women demonstrating different styles with the same pieces - Amanda, Sarah and myself.
I wanted to have a variety of pieces for us all to style. I also wanted to choose some things I had talked about in some of my previous blog post to give you all an idea as to how I would style them. I would classify my style as classic feminine with a touch of edgy in there too! Amanda has much more of a vintage inspired style and Sarah has a more casual street style feel to her looks.
The first piece I wanted us to style was these beautiful shoes. I have been seeing them everywhere! This style is originally from the brand Free People but I wanted to find a more affordable option and I found these beauties at Target for a fraction of the price. In the second photo Sarah accessorized with this beautiful weaved circle bag. This is a huge trend I have been seeing for the summer.
Next I saw this cardigan on sale and had to buy it! I always get so many compliments when I wear it. I thought it would be fun to show how you can style it in so many different ways. In the last photo you see me rocking an all cream and white monochromatic outfit.
Mules are all the rage so I had to use them for this shoot! They are such a versatile style of shoe! Notice in the second photo Sarah is pattern mixing with stripes and florals. Check it out!

My favorite go-to to use when I can’t decide about an outfit is to get a second opinion. I always text Amanda! Sometimes you just need that extra boost to give you the confidence you need to pull off the outfit! I hope these photos inspire you to pull that item out of your closet you have been dying to try but haven’t felt the courage to wear and rock it and feel like a fierce Queen!
